Our traditional chore coat silhouette gets a luxe update. This take on the utilitarian classic pairs workwear style and detailing with Portuguese cotton. The herringbone fabric, woven in rich, earthy hues, is a bit like a cavalry twill — it’s also brushed on the inside for an exceptionally soft feel that belies its rugged appearance. Offering ample pocket space, with three exterior pockets, it’s a capable companion for all your endeavors. Great quality
I originally purchased as XL but found it too roomy. Downsized to L and the fit was perfect. Compliments to Todd Snyder for ensuring the accuracy for the size measurables. Coat itself is solid and versatile. Great for travel bc it’s light and portable.
I thought the fabric was nice, and I like the idea of this in the abstract (it looks nice in the pictures). But in person, it had a lot less structure and felt more like a sweater than a jacket. Also, I find that many Todd Snyder garments (especially those in "relaxed" fits) have a wide, straight body, but narrow arms. This is no exception. With the lack of structure and the length of the garment, it just sort of looked like a smock.

Kindly note, that this jacket is meant to have a relaxed fit with not much structure on the shoulders for a comfortable fit and to leave room for underlayers during cooler weather, but you can always size down for a slimmer fit. We also provide detailed size charts on our product pages that provide chest, sleeve, and body length measurements for our customers to find the best fit for them
