Todd has partnered with the arbiter of Ivy League style to create a modern twist on the classics including The Duffel Coat, The Sack Suit and The Shaggy Dog Sweater. “J. Press has always been a little under the radar, which makes them cool,” says Todd. “So we took some of their iconic pieces and gave them a little attitude.” With The Boxy Chino, Todd wanted to create a homage to the fully-blown out trouser that was a workhorse of the prep uniform in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. The result is a super-wearable and on-trend chino. To recreate the soft yet rugged handfeel, our design team took a Japanese military twill and had it heavily stone washed. There’s a small coin pocket on the wearer’s right in case you accidentally wake up on the quad circa 1965 and need to use the payphone.
