Todd took a charcoal-and-navy plaid pattern more commonly associated with suiting and used it for this cozy long-sleeve polo — the traditional pattern lends this style a little panache. The fabric itself is knit from 100% merino yarn, so it’s soft, lightweight and an excellent option on or off the course. It features on-trend contrasting white tipping at the collar, cuffs, hem and two patch pockets at the hip. Pair it with the matching Double Knit Jacquard Track Pants to go full gentsy tracksuit, or wear it all on its own for a more low-key look.
“The Links” is a new collection from Todd Snyder and FootJoy that imagines how golf’s most iconic players from the 60s and 70s would dress if they stepped onto the links today. Inspired by the old-school coastal courses of Scotland, it builds on FootJoy’s almost 100-year history by borrowing from traditional British menswear patterns and placing them in modern, technical fabrics and silhouettes.
