Todd Snyder + Alden Indy Boot in Tobacco Reverse Chamois Leather

These are the most indestructible boots... to know that they are water and snow resistant is almost too much to handle. I love suede everything and it’s the most impractical ish ever. These boots have the look but also the practical durability that I sometimes put second to the looks (generally I’m function over form, but... SUEDE). To say I’m smitten wouldn’t be inaccurate.

Lots of reviews say buy one size smaller than normal but for me, these fit like the Barrie last, meaning a half size is plenty. I went down a size and had to send them back. If you’re a thick sock kinda guy when wearing boots, and/or have wider feet, consider just getting your normal size. A half size worked for me with standard crew socks, and I have a near E-width foot (some D widths work, others hurt like hell). Trust me, you’ll still be wearing these in 20 years (the only way to make $600 “practical”...).

This is a superior product made with discernible craftsmanship. A perfect fit from the start. I have been purging some outdated footwear and this is worthy replacement.

This is a great boot the color is amazing the picture dose not do it Justus . I was hasten about the sizing they recommended going down a 1/2 size but I ordered my normal size and it fit fine ( I have wide feet so maybe that made up for that ) . With a name like roughed out I expected it to be more rough !!!!

P.s I immediately ordered a 2ed pair in a different color needles to I love them…

I really like the feel and comfort of the suede. The color is beautiful and I get lots of compliments on them. The size is the same as other Alden’s shoes and boots I own.
