Step Vase (Small) in Persimmon

Handmade vase with brown “chestnut" glaze. Lower portion of exterior is unglazed and reveals the raw, “Black Mountain” stoneware clay. (approximately 6” x 4").  Item shown may not be the exact one you receive.

All pieces are hand-thrown and glazed and, happily, lack the industrial precision of machine-made ceramics. Dimensions are a good guide but approximate, finishes can vary a bit (depending on location in the kiln and thickness of a glaze) and slight imperfections, such as iron spots and drips, are a natural part of the process that bring more character to each piece and connect the user to the maker.

All glazes are food safe. Wash by hand or dishwasher. Please do not use in a microwave.
